The eZeeScroller by 4Level was designed for those who want a practical yet powerful scroller for thier web pages. It was developed to be flexible, cross browser, have the most desirable and useful feature set and by far the lowest code weight of any Dreamweaver scroller extension available today. The actual code that powers the srollers is a mere 1.19k. ( 1.62k if multiple content layers are used ).

The 4Level eZeeScrollers are complete. The easy to use and intuitive interfaces include all of the tools necessary for building Vertical or Horizontal DHTML scrollers.

No javascript knowledge or hand coding is required to insert or modify the scrollers code or elements. The extensions do it all from inserting the scroller, making any changes, or removing it from the document completely. Just add your content to the scrolling layer(s) after inserting the scroller.

Features     

In spite of the super lite code the scrollers are very powerful, and have several options from which to choose...

• Each scroller has the ability to scroll in 2 directions.
• Hard Reset is available for either direction sending the content layer to the beginning or the end.
• Smooth Reset returns the content layer to the default position by scrolling fast and smoothly.
• Paging allows for advancing the content layer the length of the scroller window one click at a time.
• Ticker option allows for the scroller to be applied onLoad and run continuously.
• Offsets are provided for each direction to begin or stop the content layer at a specified location.
• Multiple content Layers can be inserted into the scrollers from the interface.
  • A special show/Hide function is inserted allowing to show the selected content layer.
• Text or image controls definable from the interface. ( Images included ).
• Stylesheet included ( optional ) for the scroller content text and active links .

The Package contents

There are 2 sets of each of the extensions listed below in the package. One for the Horizontal and one for the Vertical Scroller. Each Scroller has 4 extensions. One is for the main setup and configuration and the other three are helper functions to assist with custom aspects or when creating your own controls and configurations.

Scroller Setup ( main extension )

Command - The Scroller Setup allows for the building of a complete Scroller system into your page from the Extension interface. All aspects of the scroller are completely editable after the original insertion. You can change the colors, sizes, position, controls type from images to text etc...

Controls

Behavior - The ScrollerControls extension allows you to make changes to any of the mouse events that the scroller places in by default. It also allows for you to create your own controls.

ShowContentLayer

Behavior - The ShowContentLayer extension is used if multiple content layers are inside the scroller and/or if you are building your own controls. It allows you set which content layer will be visible and be "active" for the controls when a link is clicked

Stop Scroll

Behavior - The Stop Scroll can be applied to any active link to stop the scroller.
