Included in the package are 2 extension interfaces. One for Vertical menus and one for Horizontal menus. Both interfaces are identical in their feature set and operation. The only difference is visual in how the MenuPreview Panel is presented.
Both interfaces allow for the insertion, management, and the ability to use a combination of multiple menus including both vertical and/or horizontal menus on the same page. A superb and professional grade tool.
If you create a menu on one page, and then save the page as another document(s), you can modify the menu with the interface from any of these other documents and all pages with the menu(s) will be updated with the changes.
The cssListMenuPlus interfaces can be accessed in two different ways. In Dreamweaver MX series, and DW8, access to the extension interfaces is from the Commands Menu.

The interfaces are also accessible from the icons in the Insert Bar 4Level
category.
Inside the interface are all of the options you need to build and style a complete CSS styled list menu. You can determine the button width, face color in the norm and over states, border colors, spacing between the buttons if desired , button height , etc..
You can also choose to set an image to the background of the button faces in either the norm and/or over state.
You have the option to set one of the menus buttons to the over state to indicate the menus current status is the page you are currently viewing.
Note: If you have several pages sharing the same menu you can of course set the active button individually for each page.
When you open the interface on a page with no menu the default settings are displayed. Choose a predefined theme or set your own colors etc.., add however many buttons you want in the menu and press the OK button. Viola! You have a complete and working menu.
At any time you can add new menus or remove any that you have previously inserted. Add a new menu by placing your cursor in the location on your page where you want the menu to be inserted, open the interface, make your selections and click the OK button. Each menu can have its own theme or user defined colors and independent settings.
To remove an existing menu, open the interface, select the menu you wish to delete and press the delete button and the menu will be removed from the page.
Note: When removing a menu from a page, the interface will also give you the option to delete the associated CSS file from your site for the menu being removed. You can choose to leave it there if you have other documents sharing the menu being removed from the page.
Any menu you have inserted into your page is editable from the interface. Open the interface, make any changes and click the OK button. If you have multiple menus on your page you can edit the settings of all of them at the same time.
Built in the the cssListMenu Plus is the ability to create and save your own themes. It is as simple as making your selections, press the "Save as Theme" button and naming your Theme. The new Theme will be saved and appear in the Themes drop down list for you to use over and over. You can also remove any Theme you have created at any time. There is no limit to the amount of themes you can create.
When you create a menu the style sheet will be created for you and neatly placed into a folder in the root of your site. This folder is named "cssLM_assets". For every "different" menu that you create, anywhere your site, the cssListMenu Plus will create and place the external css file in this folder.
The name of the CSS file will be the same as the page that you created the menu, also added to the name is the following .. ( _menuV1 ) or ( _menu1H ). The number in this additional suffix indicates the menu number it is on the page.
Example:
index.htm has one Vertical menu inside of it. The CSS file is named: index_menuV1.css
index.htm has a second Vertical menu. This CSS file is named: index_menuV2.css
etc...
This naming convention is the same for Horizontal menus as well.
For pages that share the same menu, ( creating new pages from an page containing a menu ) the css file in this folder will still be named for the page that the menu was created in.
Note: You can edit the menu from any page that contains the menu. You do not have to edit the menu from the page it was created in.
Note: Make sure you upload this folder any time you add a new menu or make changes to an existing menu
