( Finds and selects ) or ( Finds and Uploads ) and image straight from the open document.
This extension can be a timesaver for those with large or scattered assets. It can be frustrating rummaging through stacks of oddly ( and similiarly ) named image files for upload.
For instance, if you have just exported a few images from Fireworks to DW after making changes to images already existing on the page and need to upload them quickly without searching through many folders, selecting them individually and uploading them, you can upload them directly from the open page.
Similiarly you can just locate the image on a particular page in the site very easily and quickly.
Some features are limited for Dreamweaver versions 3 and 4 however it is still fully functional. Read below.
Access the Interface
by clicking on the Put Image icon from the Insert Panel ( DMX ) , Objects
Panel ( DW3 • DW4 )
Put Image From Page Interface
Site (MX/DW8 only)
This field will indicate the site that the image resides in.
Path
This field displays the path from the open document to where the image resides in the site.
Put
When checked the following sequence occurs...
An FTP connection to the host must be defined before it will perform the put action.
Find
When checked the following sequence occurs...
Pop always on Top
Sets an event to the <body> to keep the popup always on top.
To find an image from the page, select the image in Dreamweavers design view.
Access the Interface
by clicking on the Put Image icon from the Insert Panel ( DMX ) , Objects
Panel ( DW3 • DW4 ).
Select Find or Put from the checkboxes depending on your objective.
The site that the image belongs to will be indicated in the Site Field. ( DMX/DW8 only )
The path to the image will be indicated in the Path Field.

Press the Ok button and your image will be found - selected - and/or uploaded.
Note: In Dreamweaver 3 and 4 the site that contains the image must be active in the site window or it will not be found or put.
