Launches a new browser window from a jump menu with a number of options.
|
The first thing you will need is a Menu. From the Forms category of the
Dreamweaver Insert Bar select the List/Menu icon
which will insert the menu
onto your page.
After you have done this you can make a selection in the Property Inspector to determine which type of menu you would like this to be ... List or Menu. Either is fine. Here is an example of both types.
Now that you have your menu in place you can transform it into a Jump Menu available with all of the options in the demo above.
Select the newly inserted Menu with your mouse.
Access the Interface by clicking on the
in the Behaviors Panel and browse to the 4Level Jump Menu option
in the 4Level flyout category near the top of the list.

The interface below will appear. You have many options from which to choose from. Which options you choose is all up to you. Roll your mouse over each option in the screenshot below for a description of each one.
All Features except Fullscreen Blank Win, and Fullscreen w/Title may be used together in any combination.
4Level JumpMenu Interface

It is not necessary to know what each of the 0's and 1's mean. Just follow the intuitive checkboxes in the interface for indication of your selecions.
Should you wish to make changes to your settings once you have applied the behavior, select the dropdown list and double click the 4Level Jump Menu in the Behaviors Panel and the interface will appear where you can make your changes.
This extension is cross browser compatible with the exception of the Fullscreen feature. This will appear in Internet Explorer only. Degrades gracefully in Netscape and Opera browsers by opening a featureless window without tools.
